Two bedroom apartment at city center – the SOHO
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Two bedroom apartment at city center – the SOHO, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name’s a bit of a mouthful, right? But you know what, sometimes the places with awkward names turn out to be hidden gems, and this four-star spot definitely falls into that category.
The location is actually pretty brilliant – you’re right in the thick of things without feeling like you’re sleeping in Times Square (if you know what I mean). I mean, when they say city center, they really mean it. You can literally walk to most of the main attractions, and there’s this great little coffee place just around the corner that the locals hit up every morning. The apartment itself has this modern vibe that doesn’t feel sterile – they’ve managed to make it feel lived-in without being worn down, which is harder to pull off than you’d think. The two bedrooms are properly sized too, not those closet-sized spaces you sometimes get in city center properties. I actually appreciated that they didn’t try to cram in unnecessary furniture just to fill space.
What really impressed me was the attention to detail in the kitchen setup. You can tell someone actually thought about what travelers need – decent knife, proper coffee maker, enough counter space to spread out if you’re grabbing groceries from the market down the street. The bathroom situation is solid too, with water pressure that doesn’t make you question your life choices. Honestly, after staying in places where the shower feels like a light mist, these little things matter more than fancy lobby chandeliers. The whole place stays surprisingly quiet considering you’re in the heart of everything – I’m guessing good windows and maybe some luck with neighbors. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that “we need seventeen forms of ID and your firstborn” nonsense. With a 9.7 rating, you’d expect it to be decent, but it actually lives up to the hype without feeling like it’s trying too hard. It’s the kind of place where you settle in on the first night and think, “okay, I could actually live here for a week without going stir-crazy.”
