The Everich Infinity – China Town Apartment
I’ll be honest, when I first heard about The Everich Infinity – China Town Apartment, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone – it sounds like they couldn’t decide between being a hotel or serviced apartments. But after staying there, I get it now. It’s actually this really clever concept where you get proper apartment-style living but with hotel-level service, and honestly? It works better than you’d think.
The whole setup feels like someone took a really nice residential building and decided to run it like a boutique hotel. You’re not crammed into some tiny box with a view of an air conditioning unit – these are actual apartments with kitchenettes that you’ll actually use, living areas where you can spread out your stuff without everything ending up on the bed, and windows that open to let in real air. The four-star rating makes sense when you see how they’ve furnished everything; it’s not trying to be flashy, just really well thought out. I mean, they even have proper coffee makers, not those little pod things that make sad hotel coffee.
What really surprised me was how quiet it gets at night, especially considering you’re right in the heart of Chinatown. The building itself seems pretty well insulated, and by around 10 PM, even the street noise dies down to just the occasional taxi. During the day though – well, you know what? That’s when you want to be out exploring anyway. The staff actually knows the neighborhood, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places just hand you a generic tourist map. These folks will tell you which dim sum place has the shortest wait on Sunday mornings and where to find parking that won’t cost you a fortune. The front desk guy (I think his name was Marcus) steered me away from the obvious tourist trap restaurant right downstairs and pointed me toward this little place two blocks over that turned out to be incredible. Those are the kinds of details that make a difference when you’re trying to actually experience a place instead of just passing through it. The whole experience feels less like staying in a hotel and more like borrowing a really nice apartment from a friend who happens to be super organized and leaves good recommendations on the counter.
