Lovely Boho Apt at Nguyen Hue by Circadian
I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Lovely Boho Apt at Nguyen Hue by Circadian, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the name alone. But stepping into this four-star gem right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, I was genuinely impressed by how they’ve managed to create something that feels both distinctly Vietnamese and refreshingly modern.
The location is what really got me – you’re literally steps away from Nguyen Hue Walking Street, which means you can people-watch from your window as locals do their evening strolls and street vendors set up their stalls. I mean, the energy down there is incredible, especially around sunset when the whole pedestrian area comes alive with families, couples, and tourists alike. What I really appreciated is that despite being so close to all that action, the apartment itself stays surprisingly quiet – they’ve clearly invested in proper soundproofing, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to sleep after a long day of exploring.
The boho aesthetic isn’t just thrown together like some places do – it actually feels thoughtful. There’s this mix of local textiles, vintage furniture pieces, and plants everywhere that creates this relaxed, artistic vibe without being too precious about it. The kitchen is well-equipped too, which you don’t always get with boutique stays like this. I ended up cooking a few meals there using ingredients from Ben Thanh Market (about a 10-minute walk), and it felt surprisingly homey for a temporary space. The bathroom has one of those rainfall showers that actually works properly – you know how hit-or-miss those can be – and they stock it with locally-made toiletries that smell amazing. The bed situation is comfortable, though I’d say it runs a bit firm if you’re someone who prefers softer mattresses.
What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail from the Circadian team. Check-in was smooth, they actually respond quickly to messages, and they’ve left a guidebook with genuinely useful local recommendations – not just the obvious tourist spots but places like this incredible pho joint around the corner that’s packed with office workers during lunch rush. The apartment gets great natural light during the day, and there’s decent Wi-Fi throughout, which matters if you’re trying to stay connected or work remotely. The perfect 10 rating makes sense when you consider the whole package – it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but it absolutely nails what it’s going for. You’re getting an authentic slice of Saigon life with all the modern comforts you actually need, right in one of the most vibrant parts of the city.
