Raddison Luxury Apart – Vinhome Central Park, Landmark 81 Area and Great Park
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Raddison Luxury Apart – Vinhome Central Park, Landmark 81 Area and Great Park, I thought someone was just throwing fancy words together. But after spending a few nights there, I get why they went with the whole mouthful. This four-star property really does sit right in the sweet spot of Ho Chi Minh City’s most ambitious development project, and you know what? The location actually lives up to the hype.
The thing that hit me first wasn’t the apartment itself – though it’s genuinely spacious and feels more like a proper home than a hotel room – it was stepping out onto the balcony and realizing you’re essentially living inside Ho Chi Minh City’s version of a mini-Manhattan. Vinhome Central Park is this whole ecosystem they’ve built along the Saigon River, and honestly, it feels like you’ve been transported somewhere completely different from the bustling streets most tourists experience. The Landmark 81 tower looms right there (it’s that supertall skyscraper you see in all the city photos now), and the park they mention isn’t just some patch of grass – it’s actually this sprawling green space where locals come to jog and families bring their kids. I spent a morning just watching the organized tai chi groups, which was unexpectedly relaxing.
What I really appreciated was how the apartment setup works for different types of travelers. I mean, there’s a full kitchen if you want to hit up the local markets and cook – and the Vincom mega-mall downstairs has everything from high-end groceries to street food vendors, so you’ve got options. The 8.6 rating makes sense because while everything feels new and well-maintained, it’s not trying too hard to be boutique-y or overly designed. Sometimes you just want a really comfortable bed, reliable wifi, and a view that doesn’t suck, and this place delivers on all three. The only minor thing – and this might actually be a plus for some people – is that it can feel almost too quiet compared to the organized chaos of District 1. But then you realize you can hop on the metro (there’s a station right in the complex) or grab a Grab, and you’re back in the thick of things in fifteen minutes. It’s sort of the best of both worlds, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights and want to feel like you’re living in the city rather than just passing through.
You'll need to let the property know in advance what time you'll arrive.
