Landmark Plus – Vinhomes Central Park
So I’ll be honest – when I first heard about Landmark Plus – Vinhomes Central Park, I wasn’t sure what to expect. The name sounds a bit corporate, you know? But actually stepping into this place completely changed my mind. It’s tucked right inside the Vinhomes Central Park development in Ho Chi Minh City, and I mean, the moment you walk through those lobby doors, you realize this four-star property is doing something different.
What really got me was how they’ve managed to create this bubble of calm right in the middle of all the Saigon chaos. The apartments – because that’s what they really are, proper serviced apartments – have these floor-to-ceiling windows that look out over the central park area, and honestly, some mornings I’d just stand there with my coffee watching the locals doing tai chi below. The kitchens are actually functional too, not those sad hotel kitchenettes with a broken microwave. I ended up cooking a few meals because, well, the local markets are incredible and it felt wrong not to use that beautiful granite counter space. The living areas are spacious enough that you don’t feel like you’re living on top of your travel companion, which after a few weeks in typical hotel rooms, trust me, matters.
Here’s what I really appreciated though – the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about getting to the floating market early morning, the concierge didn’t just hand me a generic tour brochure. He walked me through the timing, told me which boats to avoid, even mentioned this little coffee stand near the dock that opens at 4 AM. That’s the kind of local insight you don’t get at the big international chains. The pool area gets busy around sunset – apparently it’s a thing with the long-term residents – but if you go mid-afternoon, you’ll pretty much have it to yourself. Oh, and parking is actually straightforward here, which in Ho Chi Minh City is basically a miracle. The whole Vinhomes complex has this organized feel that’s refreshing after navigating the beautiful chaos of the older districts. Sure, you’re not right in the heart of District 1, but the river views make up for the extra taxi ride, and honestly, having that green space right outside your window? Worth it.
Exploring Ho Chi Minh City offers visitors an unforgettable journey through Vietnam’s most dynamic metropolis, from its bustling streets to its rich history and world-renowned connections to Southeast Asian culture and urban energy.
