I was expecting just another serviced apartment, but this place actually feels like you’re living in someone’s carefully curated home rather than staying in a hotel. Thomas clearly knows what he’s doing as a host – there’s this attention to detail that you don’t usually get with corporate hospitality.
The location in Ho Chi Minh City is honestly perfect if you want to be right in the thick of things without dealing with the chaos of some of the busier streets. You’re in District 1, which means you can walk to Ben Thanh Market in about ten minutes, but the building itself sits on a quieter stretch where you’re not constantly hearing motorbikes at all hours. I mean, this is Saigon, so there’s always some street noise, but it’s manageable here. The D1Mension building has decent security too – you’ll need your key card for the elevator, which I appreciated after walking around the city all day with my camera gear.
What really impressed me was how these five-star condos manage to feel both luxurious and lived-in. The kitchen actually has everything you need if you want to cook (and honestly, after a few days of street food, sometimes you just want to make yourself some pasta). The WiFi is solid – I was working remotely for part of my stay and never had issues with video calls. The air conditioning works properly, which… well, if you’ve been to Vietnam in summer, you know that’s not always a given. There’s a pool on one of the upper floors with a decent view of the city, though it gets pretty busy in the late afternoon when families are using it. I found early morning swims were perfect – hardly anyone around and you get this nice view of the city waking up. The building’s got a small gym too, nothing fancy but enough if you want to get a quick workout in. Thomas was really responsive whenever I had questions, and check-in was smooth – he actually met me at the lobby, which was a nice touch since finding the right building in District 1 can be tricky with all the construction going on. Honestly, for the price point and the location, this place delivers way more than those generic hotel chains in the area.

What could be improved: It was missing a good range of cups, plates, glasses.
Washing machine was really useful but tyere is no airer to dry the clothes on & also no ironing board

"Exceptional value and location"
D1Mension offers incredible value for such a prime D1 location. The condo is modern, bright, and maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. Thomas was excellent – quick to respond and ensure a smooth stay. The convenience of being right on Nguyen Hue can't be overstated. Comfortable, clean, central – ticks every box perfectly.

"Lovely and Laid-Back"
Zenity has this really calm, stylish energy about it. Loved the lighting and soft colours – just made everything feel peaceful. Good little workspace too if you need to get stuff done. Felt super comfortable the whole time.

"Perfectly adequate, view disappointing"
Elegant Zenity is a perfectly serviceable base in D1. Clean, comfortable enough, and Thomas is a responsive host. The location near Ben Thanh is spot on. Rather let down by the "city view," which consisted primarily of the neighbouring building's fire escape. A tad misleading, given the listing photos suggested something more expansive. Perfectly fine for a short stay if the view isn't a priority.

"Crackin' Pad, Kitchen could use love"
Stoked with D1Mension overall! Views are ace, place is sleek and spotless. Location's primo for walkin' everywhere. But mate, them kitchen knives were blunter than a spoon! Made choppin' veggies for a stir-fry a right mission. Maybe chuck in a sharpener? Otherwise, beaut little pad. Good on ya.

"Absolute ripper spot!"
G'day Thomas! Mate, Elegant Zenity is a deadset winner. Smack bang in the middle of D1, couldn't ask for a better location to explore – everything's a stroll away. The place itself? Spotless, modern as, and the bed was beaut for a proper kip after hittin' the markets. Cheers for bein' such a top bloke host, made it dead easy. Price was fair dinkum for the spot. Would move in if I could! No worries at all.

"Stylish Haven with a Minor Quibble"
I stayed at Elegant Zenity and was delighted by the modern décor and roomy living area – perfect for a quick city break. The location in District 1 couldn’t be better, with cafés and galleries on my doorstep. My only gripe was the shower’s water pressure, which wavered at times. Still, the comfortable king-size bed and speedy Wi-Fi more than made up for it. Highly recommended overall!

My experience at Elegant Zenity was simply excellent. The condo is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and located perfectly for exploring. Thomas is a fantastic host – communication was clear and timely, and he ensured everything was perfect. The comfort and convenience made my trip so much better. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again or recommend it highly. A standout stay.

D1Mension’s open-plan living area is bright and inviting. The sofa is delightfully comfy, and the dining nook was great for my in-apartment brunches. The host’s clear guidebook introduced me to hidden gems in District 1. A seamless, stylish experience from arrival to departure.
