Chill 1BR Lexington with bathtub near Estella, D2
I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name Chill 1BR Lexington with bathtub near Estella, D2, I thought it sounded more like an Airbnb listing than a hotel. But after spending a few nights there, I actually get why they went with such a straightforward name. It really does capture what this place is about.
This four-star spot sits in a pretty sweet location in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 2, and you know what? The whole Estella area has really grown on me over the years. It’s got that expat-friendly vibe without being completely touristy – you’ll find decent coffee shops within walking distance and some surprisingly good local food if you’re willing to venture out a bit. The hotel itself feels more like a serviced apartment, which honestly works in its favor. My room had this proper bathtub (and I mean a real one, not those tiny things you sometimes get), which was perfect after spending long days wandering around the city in the heat.
The staff seemed genuinely helpful – not in that overly rehearsed way you sometimes encounter, but more like they actually wanted to make sure you had what you needed. Check-in was smooth, though I did notice they’re still working out some kinks with their system since it felt relatively new. The room itself was spacious enough that I didn’t feel cramped, and the air conditioning actually worked well, which… let me tell you, that’s not always a given in this climate. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stayed at night – District 2 can get busy, but this particular spot seems tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant motorbike noise. The kitchenette setup was basic but functional, which came in handy for making coffee in the morning without having to hunt down a café right away. I mean, there are plenty of good coffee options nearby, but sometimes you just want that first cup without getting dressed and venturing outside. The whole place has this clean, modern feel without being sterile – they’ve managed to make it feel somewhat homey despite being a hotel. With a rating of 8.3, it seems like other guests have had similar experiences, and I can see why. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but it delivers on comfort and convenience in a way that actually matters when you’re staying somewhere for more than just a quick overnight.
