Apartment The Manor 2 Studio River View, Near Landmark 81, Free Pool Access
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name Apartment The Manor 2 Studio River View, Near Landmark 81, Free Pool Access, I thought it was trying way too hard. But you know what? After staying there, I get why they crammed all that into the name because they’re actually delivering on every single promise.
The location on Nguyễn Hữu Cảnh is pretty perfect if you ask me. You’re literally a stone’s throw from Landmark 81 – I mean, you can see that massive tower from your window, which honestly never gets old. The thing about this spot in Ho Chi Minh City is that you’re in Binh Thanh District, so you get that slightly more residential vibe without being stuck in the tourist chaos of District 1, but you’re still close enough to zip over there in about ten minutes by Grab. The river views they promise? Actually legit – I spent way too many mornings just standing on the balcony with coffee watching the boats go by on the Saigon River.
What surprised me most was how this four-star place manages to feel both upscale and lived-in at the same time. The studio setup is smart – they’ve maximized every inch without making it feel cramped, and the kitchen area actually has proper appliances, not those sad mini-fridges you usually get. The pool access thing isn’t just a throwaway line either; it’s this gorgeous rooftop situation where you can swim laps while staring at the city skyline. I practically lived up there during the afternoon heat – the pool area stays surprisingly uncrowded, maybe because a lot of guests don’t realize how good it is? The staff keeps it spotless and the water temperature is perfect year-round. One small thing that bugged me initially was the elevator can get slow during peak hours, but honestly, that’s such a minor complaint when everything else works so well. The Wi-Fi is solid (crucial for getting work done), the AC is powerful enough to handle Ho Chi Minh City’s humidity, and the soundproofing is better than I expected – you’d think being so close to a major street would mean traffic noise, but I slept like a baby. If you’re the type who likes exploring on foot, you’re golden here – there’s this fantastic local coffee spot about two blocks down that makes the best cà phê sữa đá I’ve had outside of Hanoi, plus you can walk to Vinhomes Central Park in about fifteen minutes when you need some green space.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
