The rooms themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s well-appointed apartment than a typical hotel room. I mean, you’ve got space to actually unpack and spread out, decent WiFi that doesn’t cut out during video calls (trust me, I’ve tested this extensively), and the air conditioning that actually works – no small feat in Vietnam’s humidity. The staff has this relaxed professionalism that I appreciate; they’re helpful without being hovering, and most speak solid English mixed with just enough Vietnamese to help you practice if you’re trying to learn.
