You’re close enough to the action but far enough from the motorbike chaos of District 1 to actually get some sleep. The apartment I stayed in had this clean, minimalist vibe – not the cold kind of minimalist, but more like someone who really knows what they’re doing designed it. The bedroom flows nicely into the living space, and that single bathroom is surprisingly spacious (I mean, you’re not bumping your elbows against the walls like in some city apartments). What really got me was the attention to detail – proper blackout curtains, a kitchen that’s actually functional if you want to grab groceries from the nearby Metro, and air conditioning that doesn’t sound like a helicopter landing.

The building amenities are where this place really shines though. There’s a pool area that doesn’t feel like an afterthought, and the security is tight without being intrusive – important when you’re wandering around with all your travel gear. Plus, getting to the city center or the airport is pretty straightforward once you figure out the traffic patterns – mornings can be brutal, but evenings aren’t too bad.

What really sealed it for me was just how well everything worked. The Wi-Fi was solid, the water pressure was actually impressive for Vietnam, and check-in was smooth.
