3BR duplex star hill apartment
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to the 3BR duplex star hill apartment on Đường số 10, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. District 7 has this interesting mix of local neighborhoods and newer developments, and this place sort of sits right in that sweet spot where you get the authentic feel without being too far from everything.
What actually impressed me right away was how spacious this four-star setup feels. I mean, you walk in and there’s just room to breathe – something you don’t always get in Ho Chi Minh City. The duplex layout is clever, honestly. Downstairs you’ve got your main living area and kitchen (which, by the way, is way better equipped than most places I’ve stayed), and then upstairs the bedrooms are separated enough that if you’re traveling with friends or family, nobody’s stepping on each other’s toes. The kids can crash upstairs while the adults hang out below, you know?
The location on Đường số 10 is actually pretty smart if you know the area. You’re close enough to the Saigon River that you can take evening walks – there’s this nice path that locals use for jogging that most tourists never find. But you’re also not dealing with the chaos of District 1 traffic every time you want to grab coffee or hit a decent restaurant. I found myself using Grab a lot less than usual because honestly, there’s good stuff within walking distance. There’s this little bánh mì spot about three blocks over that… well, let’s just say I went back four times in five days. The morning sounds are actually pleasant here – birds instead of constant motorbike honking, though you’ll still hear the city waking up around 6 AM.
What really sold me on this place was the attention to detail that you don’t expect from apartment-style accommodations. The air conditioning actually works properly in all rooms (trust me, this matters in Vietnam), the water pressure is solid, and there’s enough outlets for all your devices without hunting around with adapters. The Wi-Fi was reliable too, which matters if you’re trying to stay connected or work remotely. I did notice the walls are a bit thin between units, so if your neighbors are having a party, you’ll know about it – but that only happened once during my stay and honestly wasn’t a big deal.
The whole experience just felt more like staying at a friend’s place than a hotel, if that makes sense. You’ve got space to spread out, cook if you want to (the local markets are fantastic for picking up fresh ingredients), but you’re still getting that service level that earns the star rating. For families or groups who want to experience Ho Chi Minh City without feeling cramped in tiny hotel rooms, this is exactly the kind of place that makes the trip memorable for the right reasons.
Ho Chi Minh City hotels provide guests with comfortable accommodations in Vietnam’s largest city, known for its dynamic street life, world-class pho restaurants, and legendary Cu Chi Tunnels.
