This four-star place sits right in the Lavida complex on Nguyen Van Linh Street in District 7, and I mean, the Saigon River views from here are actually pretty spectacular – especially if you snag one of the higher floors.
District 7 has this interesting vibe where it feels both modern and still developing at the same time. The hotel’s location in Tan Phong ward puts you right in the heart of this area that’s become really popular with both locals and expats. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets in the evenings despite being on a main road – the Lavida building itself does a decent job of blocking street noise. The whole complex has this residential feel to it, which I actually preferred over staying in the more touristy central districts. You’re close enough to Ho Chi Minh City’s action (maybe 20-30 minutes depending on traffic), but you get to experience a more authentic side of the city where people actually live and work.
The staff here genuinely seem to care about getting things right, and with an 8.2 rating, you can tell guests have been pretty satisfied overall. Check-in was smooth, and they were really helpful with local recommendations – not just the usual tourist traps, but actual spots where you can get good pho or find decent coffee. The rooms themselves are well-maintained, though I’d say they lean more practical than luxurious. What really sells this place is waking up to those river views and realizing you’re seeing Ho Chi Minh City from an angle most visitors never experience. The area around District 7 has been growing like crazy the past few years, so you’re staying somewhere that feels like the real, evolving city rather than a preserved snapshot for tourists. If you’re the type who likes exploring beyond the obvious spots and doesn’t mind a short ride to get to the main attractions, this could be exactly what you’re looking for.

Large and spacious apartment for 6 person. It's quite neat and clean, full of furniture.
Comfort bed for sleeping.
Nice with city and bridge view.
What could be improved: Some place in apartment have not been cleaned and smelled sometimes

It’s easy to communicate with the owner. The rooms were clean, the location is nice, friendly and quiet. This made our stay excellent and happy! Thank you so much!
What could be improved: Kinda distant from Ho chi minh’s tourist spot. Good thing that grabcars are cheap! 15-20 mins away from the tourists spots so the location is still good.

The apartment was lovely and very spacious, clean to a good standard, good contact with owner would definitely recommend to anyone that visits and wants out of the busy streets. Will definitely stay there again.

"Not really worth it"
The host was helpful and responsive to messages - she provided extra towels when requested and was quick to get back to us with things like where to put the trash.
The appartment is well furnished and located close enough to the centre of town, it was easy to get a grab. We were close to a mall that we could walk to and buy lunch and there’s a small convenience store of the ground floor which was very helpful.
The swimming pool and surrounding area was nice with a small playground.
What could be improved: A few things were not as advertised - notably there was no TV for which I got no apologies juat a request for understanding. Given that I’ve since seen a previous review that pointed this out, it’s disappointing that this hasn’t been corrected on the listing. There were other things - pool view, hardwood floor and a fireplace that were also missing!
The beds were so uncomfortable that I considered sleeping on the sofa - the mattresses were so thin that they really didn’t do anything.
The appartment has a damp/mouldy smell and there were lots of ants - this makes me think that it’s not being cleaned thoroughly.
Kitchen equipment was limited which made it tricky to cook and eat - only one cutting knife, soups spoons and lots of chopsticks.

Grosse räume dafür Price passt gut. Unten im 8. stock gibt es Swimmingpool.
Sehr nette Personal. Die Frau war nett.
What could be improved: Liegt 6km von Stadt Zentrum. In der Nähe gibt es kein Supermarkt. Zu fuss 15 Minuten erreichbar, aber die Wege sind zu Fuß nicht optimal weil gibt keime richtige Fusswege.
Ebenso gibt es keim Cafe, Restaurants. Es ist ein neue bau viertel. Da
War kein Essteller und Salz und Öl wäre schön.
