You know what caught me off guard about YOURS destination-5stars-Nice studio? The name honestly makes it sound way fancier than it actually is – I mean, it’s got four-star service but the vibe is more like staying at a friend’s really well-designed apartment. And that’s actually what I loved about it.

The location on Trần Huy Liệu is pretty smart if you ask me. I’ve stayed in plenty of places in Ho Chi Minh City, and this spot hits that sweet balance where you’re not drowning in tourist chaos but you’re also not stuck somewhere boring. It’s in District 12, which honestly I hadn’t explored much before – turns out there’s this whole laid-back neighborhood thing happening there. The street itself is wide enough that you don’t get the crazy motorbike symphony at 6 AM like you do in District 1, but you’re still close enough to grab a taxi or Grab bike to anywhere you actually want to go. There’s a local market about two blocks away where I ended up getting the best bánh mì of my trip (and trust me, I tried a lot of bánh mì).

The studio itself is where they really nailed it. Everything feels intentionally chosen rather than just thrown together from some hotel supply catalog. The bed is actually comfortable – like, I-didn’t-wake-up-with-a-sore-back comfortable – and they’ve got this little kitchenette setup that’s perfect if you want to grab some fruit from the market or just make coffee the way you like it. The bathroom surprised me too; good water pressure and it actually stays hot, which can be hit or miss even at pricier places I’ve stayed. What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. You get some street sounds during the day, but nothing overwhelming, and by evening it settles into this pleasant neighborhood hum. The AC works great too, which – let’s be real – is pretty crucial. The whole place just feels clean and thoughtful without being sterile, if that makes sense. They’ve got good WiFi, decent lighting for actually reading or working, and enough space that you don’t feel like you’re living in a closet. I ended up staying an extra night because honestly, after bouncing around to a few different spots, this felt like the first place I could actually relax and settle in a bit.
