The beds are properly comfortable – not too soft, not too firm – and the AC actually works well, which you absolutely need in this climate. What surprised me was how quiet it stays at night, even being right in the middle of everything. I was worried about street noise, but their windows must be pretty well insulated.

The service feels more personal than what you’d get at those big international chains. The front desk staff genuinely seem to care about helping you figure out the best way to get around (grab app versus taxi versus walking), and they know the neighborhood well enough to give you real recommendations, not just the touristy stuff. Check-in was smooth, though I’d suggest arriving after 3 PM because they seem to really stick to that timing. One small thing – the WiFi can be a bit spotty in the early evening when everyone’s online, but it’s perfectly fine for work calls and streaming during other times.
