Vinhomes Landmark Plus Royale Residence
When I first walked into Vinhomes Landmark Plus Royale Residence, honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from a serviced apartment setup in Binh Thanh district. But you know what? This place completely changed my perspective on staying outside District 1. The location on Điện Biên Phủ is actually brilliant – you’re close enough to the action but far enough away that you can actually sleep at night without motorbikes honking until 3 AM.
What really struck me about this four-star property is how spacious everything feels. I mean, we’re talking proper apartments here, not cramped hotel rooms where you’re bumping into furniture every five minutes. The kitchen setup is legit too – I actually cooked a few meals during my stay, which saved me from eating street food for every single meal (though let’s be honest, the bánh mì vendors right outside are pretty tempting). The building itself is part of this massive Vinhomes development, so you’ve got all these amenities that feel more like living in a residential complex than staying at a hotel. There’s a pool that’s not tiny and overcrowded, a gym that actually has decent equipment, and the security is tight – you need key cards for everything, which I appreciated after some sketchy experiences at other places in Ho Chi Minh City.
The staff here get it, you know? They understand that business travelers and longer-stay guests need different things than tourists passing through for two nights. Check-in was smooth, they helped me sort out a local SIM card, and when my air conditioning started making weird noises on day three, maintenance showed up within an hour. The neighborhood is perfect if you want to feel like you’re living somewhere real – there are local coffee shops where you’ll be the only foreigner, proper Vietnamese restaurants that don’t have English menus, and it’s super easy to grab a Grab to anywhere you need to go. Saigon Square and Ben Thanh Market are maybe 15 minutes away, but you’re also close to some of the newer shopping areas that locals actually use. One thing to note though – if you’re planning to walk everywhere, this might not be your spot. You’ll definitely want to use Grab or rent a motorbike, but honestly, that’s true for most of Ho Chi Minh City anyway. The value here is solid, especially if you’re staying more than just a few days and want space to spread out without paying downtown prices.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
