The Everich Infinity 290 ADV
I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to The Everich Infinity 290 ADV on An Dương Vương Street, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. But you know what they say about books and covers, because this place completely surprised me. The lobby hits you with this modern, almost minimalist vibe that feels way more upscale than you’d expect from a four-star property. I mean, the marble floors are pristine, and there’s this subtle lighting that somehow makes everything look expensive without being flashy.
What really sold me on this place was the location – and I’m not just throwing around that “convenient” nonsense everyone says. You’re literally in District 5, which means you’re in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City’s Chinatown area, but here’s the thing most people don’t realize: An Dương Vương is actually one of those streets that connects you to everything without dumping you right into the chaos. I could walk to Chợ Lớn market in about ten minutes when I wanted that authentic street food experience, but when I needed to get to District 1 for business meetings, the taxi ride was never more than 15 minutes (unless it was rush hour, but honestly, what can you do). The rooms themselves are what really impressed me though – they’ve got this clean, contemporary design that doesn’t feel cookie-cutter. The beds are actually comfortable, which sounds basic but you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong. I stayed on the 8th floor and the city view was pretty decent, especially at night when all the neon signs light up the neighborhood.
The staff deserves a mention because they genuinely seemed to care about getting things right. My check-in was smooth, and when I had questions about getting to Tân Sơn Nhất Airport, the front desk guy didn’t just hand me a card – he actually walked me through the best route and timing based on my departure time. Small touches like that make a difference when you’re navigating a city this size. The breakfast spread was solid too, with a good mix of Western and Vietnamese options, though I’ll admit I usually ended up wandering the streets for phở instead (old habits). One thing worth noting – the area can get a bit busy during the day with all the market activity, but it actually quiets down nicely in the evenings, so sleep wasn’t an issue. For the price point and the 9.1 rating it’s earned, this place delivers on what it promises without any of that fake luxury nonsense you see elsewhere.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
