Look, I’ve stayed at a lot of apartment hotels over the years, but The D1MENSION Apartments actually surprised me in the best way possible. When I first walked into the lobby, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect – the name sounds a bit sci-fi, doesn’t it? But there’s something refreshingly modern about the whole setup that grows on you pretty quickly.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between hotel service and apartment living. The units themselves are properly spacious – I mean, you can actually unpack your entire suitcase without playing Tetris with your belongings, which is more than I can say for most places. The kitchenettes are legit too, not those sad mini-fridge situations you sometimes get. I ended up cooking breakfast a couple mornings because, well, the local coffee shop didn’t open until 8 and I’m an early riser. The appliances are decent quality, though I’d bring your own decent knife if you’re planning any serious cooking. The Wi-Fi is solid throughout – I was on video calls from both the living area and bedroom without any drops, which matters when you’re trying to work remotely.

You know what impressed me most though? The attention to details that actually matter when you’re living somewhere for more than a night or two. Proper blackout curtains that actually block light, decent water pressure in the shower, and – this might sound weird – but the air conditioning isn’t one of those units that sounds like a jet engine. I’m a light sleeper, so these things make or break a stay for me. The housekeeping team knows what they’re doing too; they’re thorough but not intrusive, and they actually fold the towels properly instead of just tossing them on the bed. It’s clearly a four-star operation, and honestly, the service feels more personal than some five-star places I’ve been to where everything’s overly formal. The front desk staff genuinely seem to remember your name after the first day, which is refreshing. Sure, the building itself isn’t the flashiest from the outside, but once you’re settled in, you realize they’ve put their money into the things that actually enhance your stay rather than just impressive lobby furniture. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels like a proper temporary home rather than just a place to crash, this is definitely worth considering.
