RichLane Residences

I’ll be honest – when I first pulled up to RichLane Residences, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. The name sounds sort of upscale, but you know how that can go either way with hotels these days. What I found though was this really well-thought-out four-star property that actually lives up to its impressive 9.7 rating, and I mean that genuinely.

The thing that struck me right away was how they’ve managed to nail that sweet spot between feeling luxurious without being stuffy about it. The lobby has this warm, residential vibe – hence the name, I guess – with these gorgeous leather seating areas that actually look like someone’s very well-appointed living room rather than your typical hotel furniture. The staff at check-in were refreshingly real people, not the overly rehearsed types you sometimes encounter. They knew their stuff without the scripted pleasantries, which I appreciated after a long travel day.

What really won me over were the suites themselves. I mean, calling them “residences” isn’t just marketing fluff – these rooms feel like temporary apartments in the best possible way. The kitchenette wasn’t just for show (I actually used it, shocking I know), and the separate living area meant I could spread out my work without turning the bed into an office. The bathrooms deserve a mention too – spacious walk-in showers with water pressure that actually works, plus those little touches like really good towels that don’t feel like sandpaper. Honestly, the attention to detail reminded me why star ratings matter when they’re done right. The soundproofing was excellent too, which you don’t always think about until you’re trying to sleep and realize you can’t hear your neighbors at all. There’s something to be said for a place where you can actually get a proper night’s rest – the blackout curtains were a godsend, and the beds strike that perfect balance between firm and comfortable. I also loved that they had proper workspace setup with multiple outlets and good lighting, not just some tiny desk shoved in a corner as an afterthought.
