Overview
Walking into President Maison Signature By M Village, I honestly wasn’t prepared for how much this place would surprise me. I mean, you’re on Tú Xương street in District 3 – not exactly where you’d expect to find a five-star boutique gem – but there it is, tucked away like some kind of sophisticated secret that locals have been keeping to themselves.
The thing about this hotel is that it gets the balance right in a way that’s actually pretty rare in Ho Chi Minh City. You know what I’m talking about if you’ve stayed in some of those glitzy places in District 1 where everything feels a bit… performative? This feels different. The design has this understated elegance that doesn’t shout at you – sort of modern Vietnamese with clean lines but warm touches that make you want to linger in the lobby with a coffee. And speaking of coffee, they’ve got this little setup where you can watch the street life on Tú Xương unfold, which is honestly more entertaining than anything on TV. The neighborhood itself is fascinating – it’s got that authentic Saigon energy without the tourist chaos, and you’re still close enough to walk to places like the War Remnants Museum or catch a quick taxi to Ben Thanh Market.
The rooms are where this place really shows off, though. I stayed in one of their signature suites and the attention to detail was impressive – the kind of stuff you notice after you’ve been traveling for a while and start appreciating things like proper blackout curtains and a shower that actually has decent pressure. The beds are ridiculously comfortable (I’m pretty sure I overslept twice), and there’s this nice touch where they’ve incorporated local artwork without making it feel like a museum. What really got me was how quiet it stays at night, which is no small feat in this city. The staff genuinely seems to care about getting things right too – not in that overly formal way that makes you feel awkward, but more like they actually want you to have a good time. I had this small issue with the air conditioning on my second night, and they had someone up within fifteen minutes who not only fixed it but also checked to make sure everything else in the room was working properly. That 9.6 rating starts making sense when you experience that kind of service. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels special without being pretentious, and you don’t mind being slightly off the main tourist track (which honestly is a plus), this place delivers in ways that’ll probably spoil you for other hotels.

"This place is a slice of heaven in gorgeous Saigon a must visit."
Firstly, this is an absolutely stunning property, and I would highly recommend a stay. This place is peace and tranquility right in the heart of Saigon (as the locals call it).
The service is absolutely top notch. Nothing was too much trouble. The day before we arrived Kim Chi (receptionist) contacted us and from there assisted us with anything and everything we needed, she was always there.
The whole team were absolutely amazing I cannot stress this enough. Great service, great breakfasts and more importantly always happy and smiling. Really made the experience that much better.
The location is perfect you can walk everywhere. All the main attractions are nearby. District 1 is a 30-minute stroll to the center; the rooms are stunning.
You will not be disappointed with this little slice of heaven, stunning. 10/10
What could be improved: Genuinely there was nothing to dislike about President Maison Signature by M Village.
No complaints at all.
Just gorgeous.
The only thing I didn't like was leaving.

"Perfect hotel in Saigon - quiet location, exceptional staff, thoughtful amenities make this a gem!"
This hotel is truly special! So much so that we will definitely stay here again when we return to Saigon. What makes it work for us, in no particular order:
It's in a quieter area, which is rare for Saigon, yet it's still close to everything. You can walk to lots of restaurants and cafes within a half-mile radius. The hotel is small with just 20 rooms total, quiet, and all on one level.
Laundry is complimentary and unlimited - you get your clothes back cleaned and folded the next day. When I asked for an iron one day to press a dress for a special dinner, they took care of that too.
The lobby is open and airy with fresh, fragrant lilies (just the right amount, as they can get overwhelming). It serves as both a restaurant and business center. The "restaurant" menu is limited to complimentary breakfast items and light refreshments - the croissants are wonderful, and the coffees and teas are delicious.
The lobby serves as a perfect workspace where I could bring my laptop. It's a big, beautiful, airy space with a glass atrium feel, just steps from my room. I had to take some Zoom calls after midnight due to the time difference, and it was so appreciated that I didn't have to take an elevator down to a big hotel lobby and hunt for some enclosed, claustrophobic business center room.
The fixtures in the room are more modern than some of the 4- and 5-star hotels we stayed at, as this property is newer while still maintaining elegance. The ceiling moldings and overall design are thoughtfully done. The recessed mini-split system on the ceiling was the best! It's quiet, and the fan sounds like light rain - very soothing.
Last but certainly not least, the staff was above and beyond. Everyone was courteous, professional, and kind. Nhi, in particular, was immediately helpful with everything we needed. She gave us restaurant recommendations and they were ALL wonderful!

"Perfectly located, spacious and beautifully decorated hotel with friendly staff"
I stayed here solo for two nights and had an excellent experience. The location is perfect, within easy reach of the main tourist attractions. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable, with a strong sense of security throughout the property. The staff were professional and welcoming, offering helpful local recommendations for dining, nightlife, spa options, and transport. Especially Kim Chi was incredibly kind and attentive, making my stay feel truly like home. Highly recommended.

"Beautiful hotel, amazing service, great location"
Beautiful hotel and surroundings. The room definitely had the luxury feel. Relaxed ambience and attention to detail (even down to pillow options). We also had complimentary laundry service! Staff Kirstine and David showed such amazing customer service in their promptness, kindness and professional nature. We hope to be back again.

"A little getaway of its own, best Villa style hotel in HCM City!"
On the final leg of our Vietnam trip, we chose this property for our last four nights — and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made.
From the very beginning, the service stood out. Even before my arrival, I was personally welcomed by Kim Chi, my dedicated concierge, who reached out to assist with arrival details and ensure everything was in place. That thoughtful touch immediately set the tone for the rest of our stay.
Check-in was seamless and accompanied by refreshing welcome drinks that made us feel instantly at ease. Our room was exactly as advertised online — spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed, plus the option to request additional services whenever required.
What impressed me most was the speed and attentiveness of the service. Any request we made was handled promptly, and Kim Chi was always available, making the experience incredibly smooth and stress-free.
Having stayed in Ho Chi Minh City several times over the years, I can confidently say this was one of the most memorable and enjoyable stays I’ve ever had here. This property truly exceeded my expectations and now sits firmly at the top of my list for future visits.
What could be improved: Breakfast menu can use some improvement overall, but honestly I don’t think most of us visit HCM for hotel breakfast? But still, something for M Village to consider improving, maybe something for toward local flavours too. I am sure that will give it the right touch needed!

"Exceptional"
Lovely oasis in the city. Pleasant neighbourhood in good proximity to centre and with some really good bars and restaurants nearby including craft beer and lovely Mo Mai cafe and Bloom shop next to War Remnants. Very quiet and peaceful stay, lovely room and pool. Very high standard of accommodation and feels new. Very helpful staff. Could not have chosen better for an enjoyable stay in HCMC.
