But once I stepped into this five-star property on Võ Văn Kiệt, everything clicked. You know what struck me first? The lobby actually feels like an oasis – they weren’t just throwing around buzzwords with that name. The space has this incredible sense of calm that somehow manages to block out the typical chaos of Ho Chi Minh City traffic just outside.
What really sets this place apart is how they’ve nailed the balance between modern luxury and actually being livable. I mean, some five-star hotels feel like museums where you’re afraid to touch anything, but this one gets it right. The rooms are genuinely spacious – and I’m talking about proper space, not just clever mirror tricks. The beds are ridiculously comfortable (I’m pretty sure I overslept twice), and the bathrooms have rainfall showers that actually feel like rainfall instead of that sad drizzle you get at most places. The staff here really knows their stuff too – they don’t just hand you a tourist map and call it a day. When I mentioned wanting to explore beyond the typical Saigon tourist trail, the concierge gave me specific street food recommendations that turned out to be absolute gold.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to feel connected to the real pulse of the city without being overwhelmed by it. Võ Văn Kiệt isn’t as frantic as some of the main drags, but you’re still close enough to everything that matters. I could walk to some fantastic local coffee shops in the morning – there’s this tiny place about three blocks away that serves cà phê sữa đá that’ll ruin you for anywhere else. The hotel’s restaurant is solid too, though I’ll admit I spent most of my time eating my way through the neighborhood instead. One thing that surprised me was how quiet the rooms stay despite being in such a central spot – their soundproofing game is on point. The pool area becomes this little sanctuary in the late afternoon, and honestly, watching the city wake up from there with a coffee in hand became my daily ritual. If you’re looking for somewhere that feels both luxurious and authentic, somewhere that gets Ho Chi Minh City right without trying to hide from it, this place delivers in ways that’ll probably spoil you for other hotels.

"Near main city spots!"
Soundproofing worked well, making it quiet at night. The furniture looked new and stylish. Bui Vien street nightlife was exciting and close. Traffic could be noisy at peak times.

"Well-equipped for long stays"
The host was very professional, responded quickly, and offered helpful recommendations. The bed was comfortable with good linens, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day out. It came with everything I needed, including a large fridge, a washing machine, and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. A river cruise on the Saigon River gave me a beautiful view of the skyline at night.
What could be improved: The elevator sometimes took a little bit longer during busy times.

"Quiet stay in busy Saigon!"
The location made it easy to reach attractions nearby. The apartment was spotless and modern with proper facilities. Wi-Fi was strong and easy to use for work.
The pool and gym were lovely and well cared for. It had a kitchen, a washing machine, and comfortable furniture. The elevator was slow sometimes.

Nothing.
What could be improved: I don't understand who gave this place 5* and how they got so many good reviews. These apartments are expensive for Ho Chi Minh City, and the quality level barely reaches 3*.
1. The apartments do not match the photos. They are not new, there is mold in the bathroom, the sofa is dirty, the TV stand is broken, the curtain rod is broken and tied with a towel (!), there are dirty rags in the kitchen (photos attached). But the worst thing is that there are ants in the room. There are a lot of them, they are everywhere. They bit me, I had to go to the doctor.
2. The apartments are located very far from the city center, more than an hour on foot, 40 minutes by transport. What is written in the description about the proximity of attractions is a lie.
3. Terribly rude and impolite staff, which is rare for Vietnam. Despite the fact that I reported the approximate arrival time in advance and it was after the specified check-in time, no one met me. Moreover, I was made to wait outside, although there is security and a reception in the building. The receptionist said that I should go to another building. While I was waiting for the owners of the apartment, it started to rain heavily. The owner wrote to me to go back to the first building, in the rain with a suitcase. I said that I would not do this, because I would immediately get wet. And I asked if they had an umbrella. Because other guests were met with umbrellas. As a result, I waited outside for 40 (!) minutes. It was damp and cold. And I was late for an important meeting because of this. The owner not only did not apologize for this, she also argued with me. It was terrible.
4. Despite the fact that there is a reception and a security post in the building, the owner does not allow you to leave your suitcase. That is, for this money you have to carry your suitcase around the city at +32 *. These are 5 * apartments? Seriously?

Perabotannya tampak baru dan bergaya. Kedap suara berfungsi dengan baik, membuatnya tenang di malam hari. Lokasinya memudahkan akses ke berbagai tempat wisata terdekat. Pembersihan tidak dilakukan setiap hari, tetapi itu bukan masalah besar.

"Das Geld wert!"
Der Sicherheitsdienst war zuverlässig und immer anwesend. Die Wohnung war makellos und modern und verfügte über die nötige Ausstattung. Der Gastgeber antwortete schnell und gab gute Tipps. Zu Stoßzeiten kann es zu Verkehrslärm kommen.

公寓一尘不染，设计注重细节，现代而温馨。泳池和健身房干净整洁，维护良好，营造出度假式的氛围。家具感觉很新，品质很高，整体装饰营造出时尚的氛围。安保非常到位，保安随时待命，门禁系统也让我感到很安全。高峰时段可以听到交通噪音。

"훌륭한 디자인과 인테리어"
수영장과 헬스장은 깨끗하고 잘 관리되어 리조트 같은 느낌을 주었습니다. 아파트는 티끌 하나 없이 깨끗하고 디테일까지 신경 써서 디자인되어 현대적이고 아늑한 분위기를 자아냈습니다. 가구는 새것처럼 고급스럽고, 전체적인 인테리어는 세련된 분위기를 자아냈습니다. 다만 단지 내에는 식사 공간이 제한적이었습니다.
