The name means “dream” in Vietnamese, which felt pretty fitting once I settled in and realized how peaceful everything was.
What really struck me about this place was the attention to detail in the small stuff. You know how some hotels feel like they spent all their budget on the lobby and then forgot about everything else? Well, this is the opposite. The common areas are nice but not flashy, and then you get to your room and notice things like really good water pressure, blackout curtains that actually block light, and – this might sound weird – but the Wi-Fi works everywhere, even in the elevator. I mean, I’ve stayed at fancy places where the internet dies the moment you close the bathroom door, so these things matter. The staff genuinely seems to care about the details too, which you can tell because they remember your coffee preference after day two and actually follow through on small requests without you having to ask three times.
The vibe here is sort of like staying at a well-run guesthouse where the owners actually live there – everything feels intentional rather than corporate. Mornings are particularly nice because there’s this natural light that comes through the windows just right, and you can hear the neighborhood waking up without it being annoyingly loud. I noticed a lot of repeat guests during my stay, which usually tells you something about a place. One couple mentioned they’d been coming back for years because, as they put it, “it just works” – and honestly, that sums it up perfectly.
