The rooms themselves are spacious by Vietnamese standards, and honestly, the air conditioning works like a dream (crucial in that humidity, trust me). I particularly appreciated that the windows actually open – sounds small, but you’d be amazed how many fancy hotels seal you in completely.

The location is what really seals the deal though. You’re close enough to the main action that you can walk to Ben Thanh Market or the Opera House without breaking a sweat, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with constant motorbike noise at 6 AM. I noticed they’ve got solid soundproofing too – slept better than I expected given how lively the city gets at night. The breakfast spread was impressive without being overwhelming, and they actually had decent coffee, which matters more than you might think. With an 8.4 rating, it’s clearly doing something right, and after spending three nights there, I get it. It’s not trying to be the flashiest place in the city, but it nails the fundamentals while adding those little touches that make you want to come back next time you’re in Vietnam.
