The moment you walk into the lobby, there’s this immediate sense that someone actually thought about the details here. The design has this modern Vietnamese aesthetic that doesn’t feel forced or touristy – sort of like staying at a well-traveled friend’s apartment rather than a generic hotel chain. I stayed there during the rainy season last year, and while other places I’d been to felt stuffy and humid, the rooms here had this perfect balance of AC without that freezing blast that leaves you shivering at 3 AM. The four-star rating really shows in the little things: quality linens that don’t feel scratchy, water pressure that actually works (trust me, this matters more than you think in Vietnam), and blackout curtains that let you sleep past sunrise even when the neighborhood roosters have other plans.
