ESTELLA HEIGHTS, 2BR-5 STAR, RESORT LIVING, DIST.2
I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name ESTELLA HEIGHTS, 2BR-5 STAR, RESORT LIVING, DIST.2, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The name itself is a bit of a mouthful, but once you actually step inside this place in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 2, it all starts to make sense.
This is what happens when someone takes the concept of five-star living and actually delivers on it in a residential setting. You know what struck me most? The space – and I mean proper space, not the cramped quarters you usually get in Ho Chi Minh City. These two-bedroom setups are genuinely roomy, with floor-to-ceiling windows that let you feel like you’re floating above the city. The kitchen isn’t just for show either – it’s actually functional with decent appliances, which honestly surprised me. I’ve stayed in plenty of serviced apartments where the kitchen is more decorative than useful.
What really gets me about this place is how they’ve managed to create that resort feeling without being in some isolated bubble. District 2 has this interesting energy – it’s modern and international, but you can still grab amazing street food just a short walk away. The building itself feels exclusive (the lobby genuinely impressed me), but you’re not cut off from the real city. The infinity pool situation is pretty spectacular too, especially around sunset when the light hits just right over the Saigon River. I mean, you can see the whole skyline from up there, and it doesn’t feel like you’re just another tourist gawking at the view. The fitness center is actually well-equipped – not just a couple of sad treadmills like you sometimes get. They’ve got proper weights, modern cardio equipment, and the space doesn’t feel cramped even when it’s busy.
I will say the service here is where they really earn that rating – it’s attentive without being hovering, if you know what I mean. The staff genuinely seems to remember your preferences, and check-in was smoother than I expected for such a large property. Parking isn’t an issue either, which anyone who’s driven in HCMC will appreciate. The only minor thing is that the neighborhood can get a bit quiet in the evenings – it’s not like District 1 where there’s always something happening – but honestly, after a day exploring the city, that quieter vibe can be exactly what you need. Plus, you’re close enough to the action when you want it, and far enough away when you don’t.
