Enjoy Hotel 5A

You know what caught me off guard about Enjoy Hotel 5A? The name makes it sound like some generic chain property, but honestly, this four-star place has way more personality than I expected. I mean, with a 9.3 rating, I figured it had to be doing something right, but I wasn’t prepared for how much attention they actually pay to the little things.

The lobby hits you with this really clean, modern vibe – not sterile modern, more like “we actually thought about this” modern. The check-in was surprisingly smooth, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to see guests, which you don’t always get these days. My room was on the seventh floor, and I have to say, the soundproofing is solid. Even with street noise during the day, nights were properly quiet for sleeping. The bed situation is excellent too – they’ve got these really comfortable mattresses that aren’t too soft or too firm, just right in that sweet spot where you don’t wake up with a sore back.

What I really appreciated was how they handle the small stuff that other places mess up. The shower pressure is actually decent (thank god), the WiFi works everywhere without constantly dropping out, and there’s enough outlets near the bed that you’re not doing gymnastics to charge your phone. The housekeeping team clearly knows what they’re doing – everything stayed consistently clean throughout my stay, and they didn’t move your stuff around like some hotels do. I also noticed they’ve got this nice coffee setup in the lobby that runs pretty much all day, which saved me a few trips to find decent coffee elsewhere. The breakfast spread was better than expected too – not just the usual sad pastries and overcooked eggs, but actual variety with some local touches mixed in. Sure, it’s not going to win any culinary awards, but for a hotel breakfast, I was impressed. The only minor thing I’d mention is that the elevators can be a bit slow during busy times, but honestly, that’s pretty typical and not worth complaining about when everything else runs so smoothly.
