My room was on the 8th floor and had decent city views, though nothing Instagram-worthy. The bed was firm (which I loved after weeks of too-soft hotel mattresses), and the air conditioning was powerful enough to actually cool the room down, which honestly isn’t a given in this climate.

What I really appreciated were the little details that showed someone was thinking about actual travelers. The bathroom had a proper hot shower with good water pressure – you’d be amazed how many places get this wrong. The hotel’s restaurant is fine for a quick bite, but you didn’t come to Vietnam to eat hotel food, right? Parking can be tricky in this area, but they have valet service that’s worth using if you’re crazy enough to drive in this city. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you want modern comfort without paying premium prices for the big international chains – just don’t expect luxury resort vibes.
