When I stayed there last spring, the check-in process was surprisingly smooth for what’s essentially an apartment rental situation.

I mean, most places say that and then you’re stuck eating cereal with a soup spoon, but these folks clearly thought it through. There’s something nice about waking up and seeing the Saigon River from your window instead of just traffic and construction. Honestly, with a 9.8 rating, I was expecting to find something wrong with it – maybe thin walls or sketchy internet – but it really does live up to the hype. It’s the kind of place that makes you consider extending your stay, which in my book is always the mark of somewhere special.
