ALLEN and Company Serviced Residences – VINHOMES CENTRAL PARK and more
Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard about ALLEN and Company Serviced Residences – VINHOMES CENTRAL PARK and more, that long name made me think it might be one of those generic corporate places. But you know what? I was completely wrong, and I’m actually glad I gave it a shot during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City.
The location is what really sold me on this place. It’s tucked inside the Vinhomes Central Park complex in Binh Thanh district, which honestly feels like you’re in a different world compared to the bustling chaos of District 1. I mean, don’t get me wrong – I love the energy of central Saigon, but sometimes you need that breathing room, especially after spending your days weaving through motorbike traffic and street food stalls. The Landmark1 tower where it’s housed is pretty impressive too, and the whole Vinhomes area has this modern, almost Singapore-like vibe with actual green spaces and wide walkways. You’re still close enough to hop on a taxi or Grab to get to the main tourist spots, but far enough away that you can actually hear yourself think.
What surprised me most about this four-star property was how much it felt like having your own apartment rather than just another hotel room. The serviced residence setup means you get proper kitchen facilities – and I actually used them, which never happens when I travel. There’s something satisfying about grabbing fresh ingredients from the nearby Vincom Center and cooking a simple meal while looking out at the Saigon River. The staff here really knows their stuff too; they’re not just going through the motions like at some places. When I had questions about getting to Cu Chi Tunnels, the front desk person actually drew me a little map and suggested the best time to leave to avoid traffic (7 AM, in case you’re wondering). The apartments themselves are spacious and modern, with floor-to-ceiling windows that make the most of those river views. Sure, the decor is a bit on the safe side – lots of neutral tones and standard furniture – but everything’s clean and functional, which matters more than fancy artwork when you’re actually living in a space. The building amenities are solid too, especially the pool area where you can escape the heat without feeling like you’re packed in with a hundred other guests. Honestly, with an 8.9 rating from other travelers, I wasn’t the only one who appreciated the balance this place strikes between comfort and practicality in a city that can be pretty overwhelming.
You need to let the property know what time you'll be arriving in advance.
