Here’s what I love about staying in District 6 — you’re getting the real Saigon experience without the tourist markup. The hotel sits on a quiet residential street, but you’re actually closer to some incredible local food spots than you’d be in District 1. There’s a wet market about a five-minute walk away where locals do their shopping, and I mean, the pho you’ll find around here is ridiculously good. You know what’s also great? The parking situation — they have private spots right at the hotel, which is honestly a godsend if you’re planning to rent a motorbike.

The room I stayed in was surprisingly spacious for the price point. Clean white linens, decent air conditioning that actually works, and a bathroom that doesn’t make you feel like you’re camping.
